Wilken Telecom required a full interior fit-out for their Kampala headquarters — a multi-floor commercial tenancy that needed to function as both a productive working environment and a confident expression of the company's identity in the telecoms sector. The brief called for a contemporary corporate aesthetic with clear spatial hierarchy between client-facing and operational zones.
Our design strategy centred on establishing a consistent material palette — dark structural accents, warm wood-tone surfaces, and a restrained use of the Wilken brand colour — applied across reception, open-floor working areas, and enclosed meeting rooms. Lighting was treated as an active design element throughout: recessed cove profiles and pendant clusters define zones without disrupting the open ceiling plane.
The workstation layout prioritises natural light at the perimeter, with enclosed meeting rooms positioned at the core. A feature staircase and branded wall graphics provide legibility across floors and reinforce the company's market positioning at every circulation point.
The completed fit-out delivers a workplace that functions efficiently across its full programme — from high-footfall client reception through to focused executive work. Wilken Telecom now occupies a space that communicates the scale and confidence of the business to every visitor, while giving their team an environment built around how they actually work.
